Christmas time...

Christmas is rapidly approaching so I thought it was about time I put together a few ideas for potential party ensembles.

Although it is still only November, everybody appears to be getting into the Christmas spirit a little earlier this year. Maybe it's because the days seem much colder than in previous years and we're already hearing news of potential snow up and down the country, or could it be as a result of the copious numbers of Christmas ads which have embraced our screens recently?

Oh well, rather than complain, I say let's welcome it with open arms with the purchasing of a whole load of new clothes.

For the Christmas party season Topshop has some beautiful pieces in including my personal favourite, the ruby sequin jumpsuit - as seen here sported by Jourdan Dunn on the Unique catwalk:

Topshop Unique, £350

If the jumpsuit isn't for you then maybe one of these stunning LBDs might be:

AllSaints, £198

French Connection, £120

Zara, £45.99

Zara, £69.99

And of course, the shoes. Now I'm all for an ankle boot at this time of year, like the stunning pairs I've found below:

Topshop, £125

Carvela, £85

Topshop, £130

Topshop, £72

But if you're more of a classic court kinda gal, then here are a selection of my favourites on the high street at the minute:

Kurt Geiger, £250

Kurt Geiger, £250

River Island, £40

Topshop, £62

Topshop, £90

Have fun shopping.

Merveilleux Paris...

Last month, courtesy of my lovely boyfriend Simon, I was whisked away to the beautiful Paris.

Quite possibly the most wonderful city that I have ever visited, Paris has everything from incredible architecture to chic cafes and of course it's the fashion capital of the world.

There truly is something for everybody in Paris. If you're looking for designer stores then Avenue Montaigne is most definitely for you. Home to the likes of Chanel, Harry Winston, Dior and Louis Vuitton it's a beautiful part of the city and a must see.

For high street retailers then head to the Champs-Elysees which has a whole host of shops including Zara, H&M, Banana Republic plus many more.

And of course the Latin Quarter - located within a close proximity of Notre Dame, the area features rows and rows of cute cafes, cool bars and some wonderful vintage shops.

Aside from a whole lot of shopping we hit great attractions which I would definitely recommend including, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur - where you'll find the most stunning view of the entire city.

Anyway, rather than ramble on a little longer, I thought I'd post some more of my favourite photos from the trip - enjoy!

Beautiful stripes...

Anybody that knows me will know that I absolutely love a good striped number! So when I noticed that this ever so popular trend appeared to be making a comeback, after making a few purchases of course, I felt that a new post was definitely in order.

Stripes can be  worn to coincide with quite a number of trends - aztec, monochrome, nautical, the list is endless but also to flatter most silhouettes. Whether it be to accentuate your height or to flatter your curves, the garments on which they lie create a youthful vibe making the outcome simply effortless yet dazzling.

Check out a few of my favourite ensembles below: Some straight from the catwalk, others more affordable high street spots...
