Transitioning...

My favourite season is finally here and as we're no longer experiencing those long summer nights and 30°C days, I thought it was about time I did a post on making the transition to autumn-style.

Dark florals, capes, chunky knits and Chelsea boots will be most prominent in my wardrobe this season; as will duster coats, skinny cigarette trousers and of course my all time favourite colour - grey.

Thigh-high...

Thigh-high boots have been making recurring appearances through our favourite autumn/winter collections for quite some time now. There was Givenchy in 2003, Stella McCartney in 2010 and most recently Balmain for AW 2013/2014 to name just a few.

They're extremely versatile and can be sported with just about any ensemble - a shift dress, A-line skirt, even with your favourite skinnies tucked in and what's better, thigh-high boots are most definitely in the midst of a comeback so here are a few of my favourite looks:
