My favourite collection throughout Milan fashion week came in the form of Dolce & Gabbana fall 2012.
The range was predominantly black and gold with a few white pieces making their way down the runway in between. With large chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, lots of velvet, lace and sheer blouses and dresses the collection was high in romanticist imagery. There were capes, lace dresses, frills, corsets, laced socks with pointed boots, lots of gold embellishment and some large chandelier earrings at a size to rival those which were hanging from above. I absolutely loved Dolce & Gabbana’s modern day twist on eighteenth century fashion, by far the best the week saw.
